Hotel Review: Otivm Hotel Rome

During my trip to Italy this summer, the first stop was a quick visit to Rome. I only had 2 days to see the city (which quickly became 1 day when I missed my connecting flight). When on a tight time constraint, picking the perfect hotel is crucial. I stayed at the Otivm Hotel and highly recommend it. Here’s why….

  • Perfectly Located
    • The Otivm Hotel is right between the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain & the Pantheon, the three most popular things to see in the city. No more than a 10 min walk to each. Even the Vatican is walkable, but I would take a cab for that (especially if you visit during summer when it’s super hot). Being close to everything saves you tons of time.
  • Rooms are Spacious
    • In Rome hotel rooms are tiny. Actually, in Europe as a whole, hotel rooms tend to be tiny. Not at the Otivm Hotel. My room was super spacious, which was wonderful for my hyper toddler, she had space to run around and play.
  • Budget Conscious
    • My room was $264/night during the summer. For a large room in a great location, that’s a steal!
  • Rooftop Bar
    • After a full day of sight-seeing, I just wanted to relax with a glass of wine. The Otivm Hotel has a spectacular view of the city from the rooftop bar. It was so convenient to go back to my room to drop off my stuff and freshen up, then just head up to the rooftop to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. The rooftop is family friendly, so my daughter was able to join us.

Here are some of my favorite photos from our stay at Otivm Hotel.

Plenty of space & a king size bed

Perfect spot for a glass of wine and the sunset

Beautiful views all around

There we are with the whole rooftop bar to ourselves

Can you spot the Colosseum?

Boss Baby

If you’re visiting Rome soon, you should consider the Otivm Hotel. And if you do end up staying there, please send me a message. I would love to hear about your stay.

Happy Travels!
