I can’t believe we waited this long to go on our first Disney cruise. It was a magical experience from beginning to the end. Thank you @disneycruiseline for inviting us. #HostedbyDisney We truly loved every second of it. We loved it so much that we already put a deposit on the next one. It’s so different from a trip to the parks but equally special, in a more relaxed environment. If you haven’t done one, I highly recommend it. @disneyparks

We went on more dates during our 4 night Disney cruise than we do normally in an entire year! Our daughter is ALWAYS with us so I wasn’t sure if she would want to stay in the kids club, especially because she didn’t know anyone there. As soon as she saw it she loved the place and never wanted to leave. If you haven’t seen the kids club on a Disney cruise, check out the video I posted of it. The kids clubs are incredible! She was always begging to go back even if it was just for a little bit. We ended up having several dates every single day, even on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The same staff from the kids club on the ship staffs an outdoor kids club on the island during the day there.

If your husband has doubts about a Disney cruise (as mine did), tell him he’s so wrong. It’ll be the most relaxing family vacation he’s ever taken! The best part is that my daughter says it was one of her favorite trips ever.

This is called the Royal Gathering. 5 princesses come into the Grand Hall and you can meet them one by one to sign autograph books and take photos.

This experience does require a reservation and I’ve heard it can be hard to get. It opens 30 days before your sailing so be sure to check when it opens and reserve your slot.

It’s so quick, but they don’t rush you along. It’s just impeccably planned. We had a 9AM reservation and we arrived a few minutes before. As soon as it opened at 9AM we were already in line and got through it super quickly. By 9:09 we were done and heading to breakfast.

I love that it’s all the princesses at once so I dressed my daughter like a princess just for this. It was the perfect way to start our last day on the Disney Wish.

We won bingo on Pirate Night on the Disney Wish. I

We won bingo on Pirate Night on the Disney Wish. It’s 4 rounds of Bingo with a jackpot of $5,000 but that’s only for the last round with very specific rules. The prize values increase as the rounds go on and if multiple people win they split the prize. You can hear how much we won at the end of the video. We bought the $60 family pack to play, which includes Two 24 Card Electronic Handsets and Two Paper Cards. When we won we had to split it with another person, so we actually took home half of what was announced. #hostedbydisney @disneycruiseline @disneyparks

This is Vibe Lounge, the exclusive 14-17 year old lounge on the Disney Wish. Every parent I spoke to that had a teenager on the ship told me that their teen made friends at Vibe Lounge the first day and they barely saw them again after that (except for at dinner) because they were always with their new friends.

When Disney invited me on this trip, they set up a private tour of all the kids clubs on the ship early one morning before they opened for the day. This lounge might be my favorite of all the kids clubs. It’s designed to look like a NYC loft and it really does have that cool and fun vibe. The floor to ceiling windows that go from end to end in this lounge are arguably some of the best views on the ship. Here they have video game consoles, table games, activities, movies and fun spaces to hang out. And if that wasn’t enough it is directly next door to the sports complex, so they can go over there to play some basketball. Here they can check themselves in and out as they please. Marcelline Market, the buffet, is conveniently right by it too.

If you thought you couldn’t do a Disney cruise because you have teenagers, trust me when I tell you, you are so wrong!

Snaps from the first 2 days of our Disney cruise on the Wish. It was so hard to narrow it down to 20 favorites, but here they are….

10- Joyful Sweets, the Inside Out themed sweets shop

11- Walt Disney Theater, where all the beautiful Broadway style shows happen nightly. They’re incredible but photography and video is not allowed. Don’t miss the shows if you’re on a Disney cruise.

12- Our starters at Palo Brunch. It’s an adult only restaurant and it’s fantastic.

13- Martini Tasting in the Nightingale bar

14- The first 3 martinis we tried. They brought us a total of 5 each at the tasting.

15- Poolside and watching Big Hero 6 on the Funnel

16- Enjoying the ship while docked at Nassau. We chose to not get off and enjoy the ship while it wasn’t full.

18- Kiss Goodnight. A beautiful light show that lights up the Grand Hall ceiling every night.

This cocktail is called The Rose and it’s the signature drink at The Rose bar on the Disney Wish. This bar was by far my favorite. It is absolutely gorgeous and I just had to try their signature cocktail. The Rose is made with 818 Eight Reserve, Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis Alexandre and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé. It’s elegant, refreshing and quite a first impression. Would you try it?

My favorite is when it turns pink! Every night on the Disney Wish cruise they do the Kiss Goodnight in the Grand Hall.

Since the Grand Hall is Cinderella themed, this is based on a little magic happening when the clock strikes midnight in the movie. Originally this only happened at midnight on the cruise, but they realized that a lot of people missed out on it because it’s so late. They ended up adding hours and currently it happens every night at 7:30 PM, 10 PM, 11 PM and Midnight.

Be sure to catch it at least once if you’re on this ship. For the best view, you want to lay down on the floor and look up. But don’t worry, you won’t be the only one laying down.

I always heard that kids don’t want to leave the kids club on Disney cruises, but I could have never imagined that it was this amazing.

The kids club normally does not allow parents inside, except for an open house they have, so it’s super safe for our children. I was given a private tour before it opened one day so I could share it with you guys. #HostedbyDisney I have to tell you… it’s beyond amazing! There’s constant activities going on in there and the kids can do any of them. Character frequent the kids club and actually hang out with the kids to do crafts, read books, etc. This is the Oceaneers Club, which is for ages 3-10 (if fully potty trained) and it’s free of charge. So that means parents you get plenty of fun alone time and there’s lots for adults to do on a Disney cruise. My daughter is always with me so I wasn’t sure if she’d love being in the kids club. Well I was so wrong. She wanted to be there all day! No exaggeration, she would go about 4-5 times a day.

I have never seen a submarine in person so I thought she was kidding. But it was definitely a submarine. It doesn’t look that big in the video, but it was HUGE! #HostedbyDisney The Grand Hall of the Disney Wish

#HostedbyDisney The Grand Hall of the Disney Wish is themed Cinderella and it’s full of little secret design details with nods to Cinderella that most people ordinarily miss. The Disney team set us up with a tour of the Wish and we spent over an hour being shown these little gems throughout the common spaces. Here’s 5 of my favorite details from the Grand Hall.

1- The chandelier is Cinderellas skirt flipped upside down.

2- Lucifer is behind Cinderella’s bronze statue, but if you look closely you’ll notice that he’s looking at Jaq and Gus hiding under the back of Cinderella’s dress.

3- The strike of midnight is such an important moment in the movie and it is here too. At the strike of midnight they call it the Kiss Goodnight when the ceiling lights up and a little magic happens. This got so popular that they ended up adding times to it so more people can experience it without having to stay up so late. Currently the Kiss Goodnight happens nightly at 7:30PM, 10PM, 11PM and midnight.

4- The Nightingale’s bar is themed after the moment in the movie when Cinderella is singing Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale and the chandelier above the piano is the bubbles in the movie when Cinderella was singing.

5- The chandelier is also wrapped with gold music notes around the bubbles. They’re not any random music notes. If you play those notes it’ll play Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale when Cinderella is singing it.

The perfect family vacation does exist! She wanted

The perfect family vacation does exist! She wanted to be in the kids club nonstop and mommy and daddy got to go grab a drink at one of the beautiful bars meanwhile.

This drop off is truly perfection. They scan your child in using their magicband+ and then they can slide down. The slide leaves them inside the kids club and no one can enter unless they’re 3-10 years old during operational hours (they have an open house for parents to view it the first day). It’s safe and they love it in there. There’s tons of activities and character visits for them in the kids club. My kid never wanted to leave. #HostedbyDisney
