If you’re looking for a perfect honeymoon destination… look no further! The St. Regis Bora Bora is heaven on earth. Bora Bora has amazing weather year round and the overwater bungalows are your own little piece of paradise.
We spent 4 nights at the St. Regis and we loved every second of it. It is the most picturesque place I’ve ever seen… literally everywhere you look it’s another incredible picture waiting to be taken (I’m sure you’ll notice with my photo overload). The service was also top notch. Each bungalow included it’s own private butler that would help with anything… he even brought us floats from the beach so we could have them in our bungalow.
My only complaint was the food. It was just alright, and it wasn’t cheap. However, that seemed to be the case almost everywhere in Bora Bora. There’s not a ton of options available, so you just have to deal with it. The liquor isn’t cheap either, so I suggest buying it at duty free on the way. A bottle will cost you 10 times as much in Bora Bora, so it’s definitely worth bringing along.
Here are some of my favorites from our 4 nights at the St. Regis Bora Bora….
We did leave the St. Regis Bora Bora one night to have dinner at a very highly rated restaurant and that was a great decision. Dinner at Villa Mahana was the best meal of the trip. It was extremely expensive, but it was delicious. If you reserve with time, request the private table at the top of the stairs.
