My family recently purchased a vacation home in Disney’s Golden Oak. The home has so many beautiful rooms, but the tiniest room of all is by far my favorite and it proves that you don’t need a lot of space to make a room incredible. The Bambi bedroom has just need the right amount of detail and charm to make it extra special.
Since the home is in Disney, we wanted to add a little Disney to each space. This bedroom is full of rustic charm, so we decided that it needed an outdoorsy theme… Bambi was the perfect option. We added some Bambi art, pillows and outdoorsy decor, such as greenery, flowers and lanterns.
This tiny room has built-in bunk beds that take up half of the room. But it’s really all you need. This room technically doesn’t even count as a bedroom because it doesn’t have a closet. Across from the bunk beds there’s a door to a bathroom and a tiny dresser with some decor above it. Continuing with the rustic design, we chose a distressed wood dresser, wood mirrors, some flowers and Bambi art for that wall.
This room is by far the tiniest bedroom we’ve ever had, but it is one of my favorite designs ever. The room is full of distressed shiplap. It covers all of the walls and even the ceiling. There’s also lots of beautiful reclaimed wood throughout. Since there’s no space for a nightstand anywhere, each bed has a built in tiny niche for a light fixture and it doubles as a little ledge to put something down, like your phone.
The room has such beautiful details already that we decided to keep the decor super simple and went with the perfect off white bedding. I found it on Wayfair for under $60 each set and it truly is the perfect white quilt. The material is great and the color is perfection… no yellow tones, not bright white, rather just the perfect ivory. It’s available in all sizes and other colors as well, so here is the LINK TO IT.

The room had so many details that we didn’t have to purchase much, but what we did buy added the perfect touch to the space. Here are links to the items we purchased in putting together this space. Click on any of the images and it’ll take you directly to the item.

Such a charming little room! You did a beautiful job with it. I love the hidden Mickey on the bed frame 😉
Thank you! That’s my favorite Hidden Mickey in the house.
